V1040 Explorer

Following the success of the extended V1100 Discovery, the original V1040 has been reconfigured as the “V1040 Explorer” non-flybridge Sedan cruiser.

The lower bridge clearance not only benefits those in hard to access canals, but also suits those who prefer not to have to go upstairs. This means the saloon can now be opened right up with double bi-fold doors to create one large living area with the cockpit, and the increased roof area allows for maximum use of solar collection.

The ‘V1040 Explorer’ is available with a choice of Diesel inboard engines, retaining its shallow draft and protected props. for trouble free exploring in more remote areas.

Construction

Solid fiberglass hull constructed to survey std. using Vinylester resin,  Moulded deck and low profile roof with foam sandwich and cored construction. Low drag, fuel efficient hull form with fully protected props. High clearance bridgedeck with full length wave breaker. Heavy duty gunwale moulding, moulded bow sprit, large anchor locker and two forward storage hatches plus walk through transom with moulded swim/boarding platform.
