V625 Series

7.0 metres. Twin 115hp. Built to fish hard and come home easy.

V625 Series

Hand laminated fibreglass construction, 25-year proven hull, AMSA Class C rated, and built to a standard that most boats in this size range don’t attempt.

Every V625 leaves the shed at Pacific Point as a complete, ready-to-use vessel – not a base model with a list of add-ons to follow.

Two configurations. One hull. Choose the one that fits how you use the water.

Built to Fish. Built to Last.

The V625 Sports Fish was designed around one question: what does a serious offshore fishing boat actually need? Not what looks good at a boat show – what you reach for when the weather builds on the way home, when you have been on the water since 4am, when you need the boat to just work.

The answer is a hull that has been refined over 25 years of Australian offshore use. High tunnel clearance keeps you dry when the chop comes from behind.

The twin catamaran hulls give you stability at rest – so when the fishing is good and you have stopped to work a ledge, the boat is not working against you.

The self-draining cockpit, the insulated seat box, the six-rod rocket launcher – these are not options. They are part of the boat.

Twin 115hp fly-by-wire Suzuki outboards deliver 20–40 knots of service speed with counter-rotating props for straight-line tracking and controlled turns.

Every V625 Sports Fish is hand laminated by Darren Grono using high-strength multiaxial cloth and isophthalic resins. The hull is foam-filled for flotation. The deck is sandwich or cored construction.

This is not a production shortcut – it is the same lamination standard used in commercial survey vessels. Build time is approximately six months from deposit. Every build is owner-specified within the Sports Fish configuration.

What Makes the Getaway Different

The Getaway is built on the same proven V625 hull with the same lamination standard and offshore capability. What changes is the superstructure and layout — designed around extended time on the water rather than a fishing-first brief.
Where the SportsFish offers a curved acrylic safety windscreen with a fixed targa or folding bimini, the Getaway features a full-height glass windscreen with wiper, washer system, and side sliders. Moulded fibreglass rear mullions and bi-fold doors enclose the cabin properly.
The stand-up cabin has a portside lockup and portside shelving unit. Opening portlights give you ventilation at anchor. The lock-up cabin door is included as standard on the Getaway — it is an option on the SportsFish

Go Further. Stay Longer.

The V625 Getaway was built for the people who want to leave on a Friday and not come back until Sunday – or Monday, if the weather holds. It is not a motor yacht with a galley and a cocktail fridge. It is an offshore capable catamaran with enough comfort to make extended time on the water genuinely enjoyable rather than something to endure.

The stand-up cabin means you are not crouching every time you move below. The enclosed hardtop keeps the weather out and the temperature manageable. You have freshwater, an electric head, and a double berth that does not require a degree in origami to use.

On the water, it behaves like a V625 – because it is one. The same hull geometry that keeps the Sports Fish dry and stable at rest applies here. The same AMSA Class C rating. The same hand laminated construction. You are not trading capability for comfort. You are getting both.

Build time is approximately six months. Every Getaway is configured to the owner’s brief – talk to us about what extended cruising looks like for you.
