V930 Series 2

9.9 metres. Twin 200–300hp. Built for the days when you want to go further and stay longer.

V930 Series 2

The V930 Series 2 is Voyager’s mid-range offshore platform — and for many buyers, it is the boat they have been working toward. More range. More accommodation. More capability in the conditions that sort out the serious boats from the rest.

Hand laminated using vinyl and isophthalic resins, solid fibreglass hull to the waterline, cored deck and wheelhouse, Armacell insulation throughout. High tunnel clearance with a full-length wave breaker. Built to AMSA commercial survey standard as a baseline, the same as every vessel that leaves Pacific Point.

There is currently a V930 Series 2 in build at the Steiglitz yard. If you want to see the construction process first-hand, contact us to arrange a visit.

More Boat. More Water.

The V930 SportsFish is what you build when the V625 has done everything it was asked to do and you are ready for more. More range. More beam. More room to work the cockpit properly when the fish are on.

The step up in size is not just about comfort — it changes what is possible offshore. At 9.9 metres with a 3.0 metre beam, the V930 carries itself differently in a sea.

The solid fibreglass hull to the waterline — the same survey-grade construction used in commercial vessels — handles the conditions that shorter hulls find uncomfortable. The high tunnel clearance and full-length wave breaker keep the cockpit working when other boats are heading in.

Twin 200hp Suzuki 4-stroke outboards are standard. The power range extends to twin 300hp for owners who want more speed or are running extended offshore passages where reserve matters. Fuel capacity starts at 500 litres — the 900 litre upgrade is available for serious range requirements.

The SportsFish sleeps two in a proper double berth. This is not a camping arrangement. You can fish all day, come in at anchor, and still have a functional base for the night. If you want to sleep four, the Grand Sports configuration is built for that. Build time is six to nine months from deposit.

What's Included

What Makes the Grand Sports Different

The Grand Sports is built on the same V930 Series 2 hull with the same lamination standard and offshore capability. What changes is the interior — designed around a family or small group spending serious time on the water together, where everyone having their own space is not a luxury, it is the point.

The extended saloon gives you a proper shared living area. The walk-in master cabin is accessed via steps built into the hulls themselves — keeping the saloon clear and giving the forward cabin genuine separation from the rest of the boat.

There are two king singles perfect for families with 2 children who can have their own space. The saloon table can be hydraulic — lowering to form a flat sleeping platform, adding two more berths when you need them. Bring guests for the weekend, sleep a third child, or host a couple aboard providing an optional sleeping capacity of six.

Twin 250hp Suzuki fly-by-wire outboards are standard on the Grand Sports — the additional power suits the extended configuration and the type of passages this boat is built for.

Everyone Gets Their Own Space.

The Grand Sports was built around a simple idea: when you take the family offshore for a few days, everyone should be able to sleep properly and have somewhere to be that isn’t on top of each other.

The walk-in master cabin — accessed via steps built into the port and starboard hulls — sleeps two. Two more cabins run aft for two people to each have their own space, their own side, their own arrangement.

The extended saloon is the shared living space that sits between them — room enough to eat together, sit together, and not feel like you are living in a corridor. When the guests come aboard or the third child needs a berth, the saloon table lowers hydraulically to a flat sleeping platform. Two more sleep there. Six people, offshore, without anyone feeling like an afterthought.

On the water it performs like a V930 — because it is one. The same solid fibreglass hull to the waterline. The same high tunnel clearance and full-length wave breaker. Twin 250hp Suzuki fly-by-wire outboards carry the extended fit-out without compromise.

The Grand Sports is priced on application because every build starts with a conversation about how your family actually uses the water. That conversation is worth having before anything is specced or quoted.

The Grand Sports configuration varies by build. Start the conversation here and we will work out what the right specification looks like for you.

Trailerable. On Your Terms

The V930 Series 2 is a trailerable vessel. At 9.9 metres with a 3.0 metre beam, it can be moved, stored, and launched on your schedule – without the ongoing cost and logistics of a permanent berth.

This is not a small consideration. It means you can follow the fish or the weather rather than being tied to a fixed location. It means dry storage between seasons. It means the boat goes where you go, not the other way around.

Towing requires an appropriate vehicle and trailer setup – discuss your towing configuration at build consultation. Voyager sources aluminium trailers matched to the V930 specification and build value. Launching and retrieval at suitable boat ramps is straightforward with the correct equipment and a second person on the ramp.
